The Mate will provide a platform for the members to share their experiences by facilitating a group conversation. Our Mates’ main duties would be leading conversations between small groups.We are more interested in your communication skills rather than teaching qualifications, so those lacking experience are welcome to apply.

A minimum of 16 hours or 4 shifts per week

A starting pay of ￥1,020~/session(50m) + monthly incentives * + transportation reimbursement of up to ￥10,000/month

* Mates are given an incentive(5-10k) added on top of their month’s pay based on the number of shifts that they’ve successfully been assigned to at the beginning of every scheduling cycle.
* Reference range for hourly rate : ￥1,250~￥1,500 *Including all monthly incentives.

We’re looking for an extraordinary Admin Manager, who is collaborative, organized and a strategic thinker with a passion for problem solving, and improving organizational efficiency. In this role, you will lead a team including Admin Assistants and Mates working in our branches though out Japan. You will work in a range of capacities from team leadership, resource planning, Mates support, recruitment and implementing process improvements. This is a dynamic position in a fast paced environment so requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Managing a team of Mates across multiple locations, ensuring our team Mates are supported, motivated, and aligned with LanCul’s mission and values. Providing calendar managements, shifts scheduling, budget management and developing consistent standards and best practices for the organization.

Key Qualifications;
• Passion for LanCul’s culture and values
• Minimum of 1 year of admin work experience or 2-3 years of work experience in HR management, preferably in a multicultural or international environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English is required. Japanese language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action

LanCul is seeking passionate interns who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to apply CS concepts to real world projects. Our Engineering team is responsible for LanCul’s best-in-class mobile app which includes exciting features such as: mimic shadowing, community feed, and gamifications.

The Engineering Team is driven by the passion to recognize emerging talent. Our year-round program places the best students in positions that they will grow both technically and personally through their experience working closely with their Manager, Mentor, and team. We are dedicated to providing an experience that allows for the intern to experience life at LanCul by giving them ownership over projects that are critical to their team’s success.

• 1+ year experience in working with AWS (API Gateway and Lambdas are a bonus)
• Capable of clearly communicating complex analyses to a non-technical audience, including extensive experience presenting to leadership groups
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action
• Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on projects that have a high impact to both users and to LanCul.

As an engineer on our team, you will design, architect and maintain the CORE components of the LanCul mobile application. You will be working within a small, but effective engineering team and with your strong attention to detail you will help us to find the best solutions to important problems, always having the user in mind.

• Familiar with Databases (SQL)

You will be responsible for researching, marketing, designing, and prototyping new user experiences based on product requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Marketing, and Senior Management.Deliverables include design mock-ups, prototyping, production of visual assets and producing documentation required for implementation with engineering and marketing teams.

Key Qualifications;
• Passion for LanCul’s culture and values
• 5+ year experience in user-centered design with hands-on experience throughout the process, from user research to developing prototypes and collaborating on implementation.
• Experienced in delivering wireframes, UX flows, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, design specifications, final assets as well as personas and use case development.
• Familiarity with digital advertising, social media platforms and AB testing.
• Understanding of affiliate marketing model
• Work as part of a cross-functional team, partnering with users, marketing, engineering, business analysts and development teams to deliver business value.
• Programs knowledge: Familiarity with Design and Prototyping software such as: Sketch, Adobe XD, Omnigraffle or equivalent
• Languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript, WordPress knowledge is also required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills (Most of our members are Japanese)
