​新しいメンバーの多くが、まだLanCulのアクティビティを体験していないと気づいたのは驚きでした。日本人が言うように、これはもったいない、本当にもったいないことです！

​アクティビティとは何だろう、と思われているかもしれません。これらは、あなたのLanCulメイトによって企画され、いつでも、どこでも、約1時間（時には2時間！）開催される、自発的でリアルなイベントです。

• ​月間プランの多くには、毎月少なくとも1回のアクティビティが含まれています。

• ​現在のプランに含まれていなくても、非常に低価格でアクティビティを無制限に追加できることがよくあります！​

アクティビティが最高の学習体験である理由

​アクティビティは単なる交流イベントではありません。それは、本物で実践的な語学力を解き放つ鍵となります。

​1. リアルな状況での生きた言語

​カフェセッションで食べ物について話すことはできますが、アクティビティは言語を体験する機会を与えてくれます。

​カフェセッションでの会話: 「私はイタリア料理が好きです。」

​アクティビティで使う言語: 「すみませんが、塩を取っていただけますか？」や「この料理にはポテトかソースは付いていますか？」

​注文、道案内、計画立てなど、日常の屋外の状況でコミュニケーションをとる方法は、通常のディスカッションでは再現できません。これこそが、アクティビティのユニークで貴重な学習上の利点なのです。

​アクティビティは、日本の文化や社会生活を楽しむ絶好の機会です。

​アクティビティはLanCul体験の中核をなすものです。私はかつて、お気に入りのギリシャ料理店訪問から秋葉原散策まで、週に最大9回も企画していましたから、よく知っています！

​次回のセッションであなたのアイデアを話題にしてみてください。あなたや他のメンバーが、訪問したい場所、レストラン、またはイベントについて同意できれば、その場所でアクティビティを企画できることがよくあります！

​It's been a surprise to realize that many new members haven't yet experienced LanCul Activities. As the Japanese say, this is Mottainai—a wasteful shame!

​You might be wondering, what exactly are Activities? They are spontaneous, real-world events organized by your LanCul Mate, happening anytime, anywhere, for about an hour (sometimes two!).

​Many of our monthly plans include at least one Activity per month.

​Even if your current plan doesn't, you can often add unlimited Activities for a very low price!

​Why Activities are the Ultimate Learning Experience

​Activities are not just social events; they are the key to unlocking authentic, practical language skills.

​1. Real-Life Language in Action

​While we can talk about food in a cafe session, an Activity gives you the chance to live the language.

​Cafe Session Talk: "I like Italian food."

​Activity Language: "Could you please pass me the salt?" or "Does this dish come with a side of potatoes?"

​The way we communicate in everyday, outdoor situations—ordering food, asking for directions, making plans—simply cannot be replicated in a standard discussion. This is the unique and precious learning advantage of Activities.

​2. Seasonal and Social Immersion

​Activities are the perfect opportunity to enjoy Japanese culture and social life:

​Seasonal Fun: Seeing the cherry blossoms (Sakura), enjoying summer festivals, or viewing autumn leaves.

​Social Outings: Sharing a meal at a fantastic restaurant, exploring famous spots like museums, art galleries, or even special excursions to places like Universal Studios Japan!

​The Shared Experience: Activities let you talk about things you would normally discuss with friends from other countries, giving you realistic conversational practice in fun environments.

​Do you have a museum, a local shop, or a special spot you've wanted to visit, but your friends aren't interested or available? Now is your chance! LanCul Mates and members can join you to explore that place together, making it an instantly shared and enjoyable memory.

​💡 Pro Tip: Organize Your Own Activity!

​Activities are a core part of the LanCul experience. I should know—I used to organize up to nine per week, from visiting my favorite Greek restaurant to exploring Akihabara!

​Bring up your ideas in your next session. If you and other members agree on a location, restaurant, or event, we can often organize an Activity right there!
