Hey! I'm Houssem, I'm from Algeria and I'm currently studying Japanese in Tokyo. I have a wide range of interests particularly anime and games especially card games, as well as sports like football, food is also something I love immensely both eating and cooking. Let's have tons of fun.

🇲🇽Ingrid(メキシコ)

My name is Ingrid. I was born and grew up in Mexico. I came to Japan to work and study and learn about the amazing culture. In Mexico I worked in the independent animation industry. Films and art in general, have always been an interest of mine. In my leisure time I enjoy nature, going to museums and watching and discussing movies. I adore stories so I hope we can be friends and we can exchange some interesting ones.

I want to speak Japanese to have nice and fun conversations with locals and tell them about my home country.

■LanCulを卒業するメイトのご紹介

LanCulには、世界中から個性豊かなメイトが集まり、たくさんの出会いが生まれています。そして時には、それぞれの夢や目標に向かって、新しい一歩を踏み出すメイトを送り出すこともあります✨

今回は、以下の4人がLanCulを卒業します。

少し寂しくはありますが、新しいステージへ進む4人を、LanCul一同、心から応援しています。ぜひみなさんもエールを送っていただけたら嬉しいです☺️

■ カフェの空気感。「なぜ“先生と生徒”ではなく“メイトとメンバー”なのか」

英会話というと、「先生から英語を教わる場所」をイメージする方も多いかもしれません。でも、LanCulが大切にしているのは、英語を学ぶことだけではなく、英語を通して人とつながることです☕️✨

カフェでコーヒーを飲みながら、仕事や趣味、旅の思い出について話す。そこには、決まった教材も、正解のある会話もありません。お互いの話に興味を持ち、質問したり、笑い合ったりする中で、自然と英語を使う機会が生まれます。知っている単語を使ったり、ジェスチャーを交えたりしながら、自分のペースで少しずつ伝えていけば大丈夫です😊

だからこそ、LanCulでは「先生と生徒」ではなく「メイトとメンバー」。どちらかが一方的に教えるのではなく、一緒に会話を楽しみながら、お互いの世界を広げていく関係です🌱

英語を話すことが、もっと気軽で、もっと楽しいものになる。そんな場所でありたいと考えています🌏

■ 最後に 🌱

英語は「勉強するもの」から、「日常をちょっと楽しくするもの」へ。
教科書通りの正解を探すのではなく、コーヒーを片手に、気になったことを質問して笑い合う☕️✨
そんな何気ないやり取りの中にこそ、生きた英語の楽しさがあります。
