Language and Culture. Our goal is to deliver an exciting conversation and a cross-cultural experience for everyone at the table. The idea is to have a fresh start everyday, to let go of mediocrity, to learn something new about the world. This is the very heart of LanCul. We are looking for great communicators, people who can create a fun environment for beginner English speakers. If you think you have what it takes to be a Mate, then come and join our team!
At LanCul, we are always interested to hear from outgoing, reliable people to work as facilitators who can share their experiences and lead lively conversations with our customers.
We are more interested in conversation skills than teaching qualifications so students and those lacking experience are welcome to apply.
Please take a moment to submit your information using the form.
(We can unfortunately NOT accept applications from temporary visitor visa holders.)
We are looking for young, interesting English speakers to facilitate conversations and teach lessons in a relaxed, casual atmosphere in Shimokitazawa and Jiyugaoka (both in Tokyo). Our customers are mostly in their twenties or thirties.
Your duties will mainly be leading conversations between small groups of up to 7, and private lessons.
Your conversational skills and personality are as important as teaching qualifications.
Students and those without experience are welcome to apply, previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.
We’re also interested in your interests, skills, and experience of managing, training besides English teaching.
Please fill out our form for your application.
